IPL derails India T20 world cup prospects - Part2

Team India is out of the T20 World Cup. We deserve this. What else one can expect with three defeats in a row.

Starting from picking up team for this championship upto the final match in super8, everything went wrong. we kept playing the wrong eleven. And those who played just couldn't perform.

In the Super 8s, everyone was a failure. It is fair to keep Suresh Raina out of this failure list.

Dhoni displays such shameless confidence in players like Dinesh Karthik? Why is why players like Manish Pandey and Shikhar Dhawan never get a chance to play and sub-par players like him continue to don the Indian jersey.

Now when you see people like Vijay and Karthik in the squad for Zimbabwe tour, you will end up with burning your own blood. Both Vijay and Karthik will cash this opportunity and will hit minnows very hard and in reward will cemented their place for the future tours of more strong opponents.

Is it the IPL which is responsible for such a pathetic performance?
Is IPL coming at the cost of Team India?
Will BCCI give answers to these queries?

  1. Yes, we are really heart broken with India's performance and their attitude specially after seeing Dhoni's attitude in the press conference after the match against SriLankans.

Why it always happens that after a failure in one big tournament, our team visits minnows and beat them comprehensively. By this they cover their defeat in important matches and improve their personal records.

It is the IPL only which is responsible for this big defeat.

  2. BCCI should set a limit on the number of matched an Indian player can play in IPL.

  3. Everyone is giving excuses now.
Look at Dhoni, he is saying IPL parties are responsible for the defeat.
Look at BCCI they are saying players are themselves very intelligent enough to decide whether to play IPL or not.

They are just playing the blame game now.

  4. Yuvraj is never consistent in all forms of this game.
How far Indian Team will carry his burdon just on the basis of 6 sixes and few hard hitting innings.

Power and Glamour can easily divert anybody. Gautam seems to be suffering from this or he is also not good enough to play on bouncy and fast tracks

Dhoni is trying to find baseless excuses. There is a report from franchises that Dhoni hardly attend any parties. Same is true with most of the players

  5. I partially agree with all your comments regarding performance of team india in T20 world cup. I agree they haven't performed consistently as required to get world cup trophy. But reason is not IPL. Actually we all are highly influenced by electronic media. We make our mind set and think as it was shown on TV. But can anybody tell me when team india won first two matches then nobody was going to criticizing IPL. I think it’s not IPL that make down to india team but its there own carelessness. And to cover up this carelessness they have started blame game.

  6. Our one match ws against Afganisthan and the other one against South Africa we won because of Raina ( only players who performed in 2 matches).
Dinesh You have to understand one thing that we not nly need physical fitness but mental toughness aswell.
    our players were mentally tired.

Dhoni himself has admitted this thing but ofcourse his reason of IPL parties is just a baseless reason.

  7. BCCI has doen the right thing by giving rest to big players befoer the Zimbabwe tour. But she has done this at the wrong time.

Why BCCI had not thought of giving some rest to players before world cup T20 tournament??
